Drinking Water Advisory Lifted in Petersburg
Residents and businesses in the Downtown and Old Towne areas of Petersburg were notified on October 3, 2023, of water line breaks and advised to boil all drinking water until further notice. The water line breaks have been repaired, and the water, tested per Department of Health requirements, is now safe to drink without boiling.
