Petersburg City Council Elects Mayor and Vice Mayor
Petersburg City Council held an organizational meeting this afternoon. Sam Parham, who was first elected Mayor in January 2017, was re-elected by fellow council members and has continued to serve as Mayor since then.
Darrin Hill was elected as Vice Mayor. Vice Mayor Hill has served on Petersburg City Council since 2015. This is his 2nd term as Vice Mayor.
The terms of Mayor and Vice Mayor are for two years.
