The Petersburg Emergency Management team monitors weather conditions and is prepared for the second round of snow to fall in our region on Friday night through Saturday morning.
A contractor has treated main roads in the city today, and Public Works Road crews will be working through the night to treat and clear City streets. Police and Fire will also monitor road conditions.
The City asks citizens to stay off the roads during the storm if possible. With less traffic, road crews can better cover the streets. Residents are also asked to use off-street parking when available.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will be closed on Saturday, January 11.
