The Petersburg City Government Offices will open two hours late on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Essential employees are expected to report on their regular schedule, while non-essential personnel may use liberal leave.
All Petersburg Courts will be closed on Tuesday, December 9.
Petersburg Area Transit services will begin at 8:15 am, pending road conditions.
The Petersburg Public Works is actively treating roads and will continue operations throughout the night. Police and Fire Departments are also closely monitoring road conditions.
Citizens are encouraged to report:
· Poor road conditions or fallen trees blocking roads to the Petersburg Bureau of Police NON-EMERGENCY LINE at (804) 732-4222.
· Power outages to Dominion Energy at 1-866-366-4357.
· In the event of an emergency, please call 911.
