Residents and businesses in the area of W. Tabb St. and the 200 block of N. Sycamore St. will experience an interruption of water service on Saturday morning, March 2, 2024. This action needs to be taken to test the water main valves that surround Hotel Petersburg. We plan to install the meter for Hotel Petersburg next week and need to run a pretest before construction can begin.
A letter was hand delivered today to all residences and businesses on W. Tabb and the 200 Block of N. Sycamore and states the following:
Your water service will be turned off for approximately 4 hours,
beginning 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., March 2, 2024. If someone is on a life sustaining machine that requires water, notify this office immediately. This interruption of service is necessary for the improvement of service to our customers. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation.
